Prof. Dr. Necla Songür

Dr. N Songur has completed her medical education at Ankara Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1989.
She has had her residency training at İzmir Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Hospital, Kanazawa University School of Medicine (Japan) and Ankara Atatürk Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Hospital (Turkey).
Dr. N. Songur has performed clinical and laboratory studies in the field of asthma and chronic cough under Prof. M. Fujimura. During these studies she conducted experimental studies of the drugs which has been routinely using in the treatment of asthma today. These studies have been published in major scientific journals.
She has been again in Japan for some studies on chronic cough in Kanazawa University School of Medicine in 1999. Dr. N Songur has performed the first studies on the field of chronic cough in Turkey.
In 2010, she had endobronchial (EBUS) is ultrasound received training from Prof. I. Yoshino at Chiba University School of Medicine (Japan).
She focuses on the areas of chronic cough, asthma, COPD, environmental lung diseases and lung cancer. She has had various national and international publications on these subjects.
